Ashley Himes and Ricky Paulus

Founders

I’m Ashley Himes. I’m a mother, entrepreneur, business coach, ministry leader, and the founder of Rooted Life Collective. For the last 10 years, I’ve built businesses, led teams, and helped people grow personally and professionally. I’ve learned a lot about servant leadership and the value that Jesus puts on leading by serving. After walking through seasons of heartbreak, healing, rebuilding, and rediscovering my faith, I learned that growth rarely happens in isolation. God created us for community. He created us to gather around the table, share our stories, carry one another’s burdens, pray together, and grow deeper roots together. Some of the most meaningful growth in my life happened away the noise in quiet moments with Jesus, in authentic relationships that supported my faith, and through the process of leaning in and surrendering my plans for His and following his vision. Rooted Life Collective was born from that vision and a desire to create the kind of community I was searching for: a place where people can encounter God, find belonging, grow in faith, discover purpose, and do life together. Inspired by the early church in Acts, we believe discipleship happens around tables, not just from pulpits. We believe every person has value, every story matters, and every life can be transformed by the love of Christ. My prayer is that Rooted Life becomes a place where people feel seen, known, loved, and encouraged to put down deep roots in Christ so they can flourish in every season.

My name is Ricky Paulus. I am a U.S. Army veteran, follower of Christ, and outdoor enthusiast from Ohio. I enjoy hiking, traveling, fitness, and studying Scripture. Through life's challenges and experiences, I have developed a deep appreciation for faith, personal growth, and encouraging others. My goal is to live with purpose, continue growing spiritually, and help others do the same.

Rebekah Botner

Hi, my name is Rebekah (Bekah for short)! I love the Lord and I love His Word. I’m so excited to be a pioneer for Rooted Life and look forward to seeing how God uses this ministry. I’m also a passionate photographer and love capturing life’s special moments. Whether it’s a family gathering, church event, or any other special occasion, I’m passionate about capturing memories that can be treasured for years to come.

I am a woman of faith, devoted mother, entrepreneur, and ministry leader with a passion for helping others grow in their relationship with God and discover their God-given purpose. Through my own journey of faith, challenges, and restoration, I have developed a heart for encouraging others, building community, and sharing the love of Christ. I believe that no matter where someone is in life, God has a plan for them and a purpose greater than their past. My mission is to inspire hope, strengthen faith, and create spaces where people feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to walk boldly in their calling.
